Thanks to kurthdesignworks for the quick howto!

1. Log in to your account.
2. View your domains and select the domain you would like to change.
3. On the left tool bar, click on “All Host Records”, which is under Host Management.
4. Under the “IP Address/URL” for the ”@” Host Name, put your mystore.myshopify.com url. Set the “Record Type” for <acronym title="Alias">CNAME</acronym>. See pic.
5. Do the same for the “www” Host Name.
6. Save changes.
7. Now go to your Shopify store interface. Click on preferences.
8. Click on “DNS & Domains”.
9. Click on “I would like to claim another hostname…” and add your namecheap URL - www.mynewurl.com.
10. Claim the hostname and make it your primary domain.
11. Check the “always redirect customers here?” box.
